Your therapist utilizes mindfulness, deep breathing, static and dynamic postural positioning along with specific touch techniques to gently move your joints through their full range of motion, and apply pressure to the soft tissues. This effective flexibility training incorporates passive joint mobility exercises, assisted stretches and twists/holds that helps to prevent injury, improve circulation, muscle recovery, athletic performance and functional independence, and encourages a deep sense of relaxation.
Performed fully-clothed on a thick floor mat in your own home, this one-hour session will not only relieve tension and improve flexibility in your shoulders, hips, legs and spine, it will also help the natural energy of the body to flow more freely, inducing a deep level of relaxation and improved sense of well-being.
